The 2010 Lexus GX 460 was presented at the Montreal International Auto Show in Montreal, Quebec.
It is designed for luxury levels of comfort, comfortable and versatile, for active, well-off families to make a good weekend in comfortable circumstances.
“Drivers looking for an authentic, body-on-frame SUV will find the luxury market is full of models that emphasize on-road enjoyment at the expense of off-road capability,” said Larry Hutchinson, director of Lexus in Canada. “In this field, the new GX stands head and shoulders above the rest. With the new GX 460, our guests will discover once again why they can turn to Lexus, and no other luxury automaker, for the anytime, anywhere driving confidence that helps deliver more perfect moments of adventure and the time of their lives.”
The GX 460 has a V8 with six-speed automatic transmission. It provides 14 per cent more power, yet is 11 per cent more fuel efficient than the vehicle it replaces.
It is supplied with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, Multi-Terrain Select and other technologies. It has a long list of interior and exterior upgrades, as the 18-inch wheels, backup camera, heated and ventilated seats, active front head restraints, push-button start and a segment-leading total of ten airbags.
The base price of this car is $51,970 and $56,765 for the Premium edition, but what you may expect for this price, it is in the car, even the iPod ports, too.
